Getting married in Washington, DC, is one of the most iconic spots in the US, if not in the entire world. But in April, DC, our nation’s capital, becomes that much special than probably any other time of the year. Hundred’s of thousands of people converge on the mall to see the transformation of brown and bare to the glorious white and pink filled skies. The anticipation of the cherry blossoms, as beautiful and amazing as they are, only last ten days, in a good year. The predictability of their blossom date are anybody’s guess. Traveling in from Indiana, we only had one chance to do this- and the weeks leading up to this year’s cherry blossom did not look promising, and literally two days before their wedding date these little beauties popped out with all the grandeur and beauty.
